What nutrients should teenagers supplement

Recently, I have received a lot of inquiries about what nutrients should teenagers supplement? Children of this age are still children, but some are as tall and heavy as adults. Parents want them supplement nutrients but are unsure if they should be given the dose for an adult. Especially for those over fourteen years old, their body is in the stage of rapid growth. Parents want them to grow taller and eat a lot, but are also afraid that they will be overweight. Besides, the pressure of studying is particularly high, which brings a lot of emotional problems. Parents really worry too much. As a mother of two teenagers, I fully understand those parents’ feelings.

The basic nutrients that teenagers need to take include: Children's multi-vitamins + Vitamin C +Vitamin B group + magnesium citrate + Omega-3 (brain formula)

The main purpose of eating children's multi-vitamins is to supplement trace elements. Children's multivitamins are like the foundation that women put on when they put on makeup. After finishing the foundation, you still should wear lipstick, eye shadow as needed. Therefore, for those nutrients that require relatively high amounts, such as C, B, D3, etc., children need to take extra.

For those have severe acne on the face, zinc and vitamin A are also needed

For those often have eczema or various inexplicable pimples, they need to take additional immune-type probiotics

For those often have stomach upset or are picky to food, they need to add intestinal food + immune probiotics

For those have depression problems, probiotics should be replaced with emotional ones.

These are the nutrients that children must be equipped with during the special growth period. As for the vision problem that many consider, there are actually no suitable nutrients. Almost everyone ask about if lutein helps. But because the main function of lutein is to improve the retinal problems caused by age, it does not help prevent myopia or delay myopia in children. Whether a child is nearsighted or not has a lot to do with the child's eye habits, the duration and frequency of screen use. Eating lutein can not prevent myopia.
